In emergency situations such as snowstorms, power outages, and threats to public health and safety, RVNA has been designated by the Health Department as a resource for health support in the community.
In addition, RVNA conducts and participates in disaster drills in order to prepare for the administration of mass inoculations or mass antibiotic distribution.
When the Ridgefield Health Department receives notification of a communicable disease case, RVNA is an integral part of the investigation--providing essential support through interviews, testing, health education, counseling, and guidance.
The RVNA is able to combine their reputation for excellent patient care and community wellness services while working diligently on the preparedness and safety needs of the community.
