CPR Certification Become certified in CPR, learn for the first time or refresh your skills. Course is taught following American Heart Association guidelines. Certification is valid for 2 years. Cost $48/person. 203.438.5555
43rd Annual Community Health Fair April 1, 2017 at East Ridge Middle School from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Ample parking, easy access, FREE health screenings! Cholesterol, blood pressure, vision and hearing screenings; skin and foot exams, lung function testings, Ask the Doctor, Children’s Corner and much more! Dozens of informational booths on community resources and valuable health information.
Support Groups Lyme Disease Support Groups are held:
- Daytime: Second Friday of each month from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at RVNA
Free, drop-in group open to patients and family. Focus is on wellness practices to support healing of body and spirit.
Flu and Pneumonia Vaccination Clinics RVNA conducts flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics from late September-January for the community and at local businesses. RVNA accepts Medicare Part B, Aetna,Blue Cross/Blue Shield, ConnectiCare, Harvard Pilgrim, Healthy CT insurance. Payment also available by cash, check, credit card. Clinics open to ages 6 months and up. Vaccines available include; Regular Trivalent, High Dose (ages 65 & up), Quadrivalent, and Flu Mist ages 2-49. Travel Health Consultations Personalized travel vaccinations and safety consultations are available. Open to any traveler age 18 and older. Prescription by M.D. required for vaccinations without a consultation. By appointment only. Please book at least two weeks prior to your departure date. Call 203-438-5555 extension 1119 to make an appointment. Vaccines available include; Yellow Fever, Typhoid, Rabies, Japanese Enchephalities and Prescription for Malaria.
Well Child Clinics Sports, camp, and school physicals and required immunizations are offered at our clinic for children ages newborn through age 18.The clinic is licensed by the State Department of Health and run under the direction of the RVNA Pediatric nurse, the Director of Community Programs, and a Ridgefield pediatrician. Clinic runs in the summer but RVNA will try to accommodate as needed – please call for appointment if needed outside of scheduled times. $50 physical including immunizations. $21 immunization only (prescription required).
