Reby Advisors was introduced to RVNA just about the time that the agency relocated from 90 East Ridge to the current Center for Exceptional Care on Governor Street in Ridgefield. But it was more than the new building that interested Reby. It was a shared commitment to community, to excellence, and to health.
“We see in RVNA a true commitment to the overall health and well-being of their patients that mirrors our own values,” says Bob Reby, President and CEO and founder of Reby Advisors. “We are interested in helping our clients not just in the short-term, but for the whole term, and RVNA embraces this approach as well. Plus,” adds Reby, “both organizations exist to deliver health. In our case, we focus on financial health, but we recognize that financial health has a profound impact on overall health and wellness. And vice versa. Physical health and wellness is RVNA’s domain, so the partnership is a natural.”
“When a sponsorship allows both organizations to share their respective expertise to make each other stronger, that’s a real victory,” says Theresa Santoro, President and CEO of RVNA. “We treasure all of our sponsors and supporters and when we can share our expertise with them in return, it gives additional dimension to the relationship.”
Reby Advisors has not only supported RVNA’s mission through their Governor Society membership and sponsorship of the 2018 Spring Breakfast and Autumn Dinner, among other events, they have also focused on community education, introducing their knowledge with the RVNA community and introducing RVNA to their audience. In 2017, Reby hosted a free education series at RVNA on retirement planning and invited April Rodriguez, RN for Community Health, to be part of the panel. Participants were educated on the connection between financial health and physical and emotional health.
Recently, they spoke at length with Theresa Santoro about retaining quality of life, independence, and safety as you age. View full interview here. “Part of helping people prepare for their retirements and future is helping them understand the possibilities — and risks — down the road,” says Reby. “With over a century of experience in the healthcare field, RVNA is able to offer our clients realistic and valuable information to consider.”
As we move into 2019, Reby Advisors and RVNA continue to explore areas of synergy and overlap, looking for new and beneficial ways to help each other’s clients and patients prepare for their futures and achieve better overall health.
“We are so grateful to sponsors like Reby, who share and promote our mission and make it stronger,” says Santoro. “We’re looking forward to a strong and healthy partnership for years to come.”
